The Mothers For Women’s Lib writers are:
Anji
Anji is 25 years old and lives in the south of England with her five-year-old son Orion and three adorable rats. She is a hairy radical feminist, disabled, mentally ill, personality disordered, body modified, queer, vegetarian and teetotal (but smokes too many cigarettes), a wannabe writer and artist, a rat lover and a nerd.
Ruth
Ruth is a queer single mother in a very long distance relationship. She lives in the frozen wastelands of the North of England with an adorable and challenging two year old who always knows best. Two cats also live there. One always tells the truth and the other one… scratches. She writes about various things but she’s especially interested in breastfeeding, children’s rights, alloparenting and raising a happy child within the constraints of kyriarchy.
Annika
Annika is a first time mum-to-be, feminist, sister, friend, domestic violence support worker, rape and sexual violence helpline volunteer, aspiring writer, day dreamer and optimist, to name a few…
Penni
Penni is the disabled mother of a four year old boy (one day younger than Anji’s!) who is known on this site as Austen. She is involved in mothering, feminist, gender, sexuality and disability writing, and is particularly interested in the areas where these interests overlap. So far, she’s managed to raise a child who likes Dr Who and cooking, and whose attempts at tidiness way out-strip her own.

Hi…I’m looking for contact info for Ruth. I wanted to ask her something about a comment she left on another blog. My e-mail is phdinparenting at gmail dot com.
P.S. – feel free to delete this comment – I just couldn’t find any other way to get in touch! Thanks so much…

As a feminist and mother of a 13 year-old boy, I give you ladies a huge “Bravo” for putting this out here. We need it!
I am a mom who works full-time, goes to college part-time as a double major (Law & Society and Gender & Women’s Studies), and is engaged to a wonderful feminist man. We show my son daily what gender equality is and why it is important for both genders to work in harmony for a better world.

Hi,
I’ve been an avid follower of your site. You really are a good writer and your writings are exemplary. have you actually considered writing professionally? Like perhaps turn your writings into book form?

Hello Anji
I’m writing a book on motherhood and feminism, to be published next Spring, and wondered if I might be able to talk to you as part of my research. I’d really appreciate it if you would send me your contact details so that I can get in touch.
I hope to hear from you soon and many thanks.
Rebecca
